OK well, for females, if you want 2 kno if u stopped growing, here is a sign...approximately 2 years after your first period, you stop growing because of the presence of estrogen which closes the growth plates, normally known as "fuse" ..this occurs in the long bones. after that, your only option is to increase your torso height (spine)....

for males, if you have facial hair, an excess hair on your body, this means there is elevated levels of testosterone, which also closes growth plates in males. That is why, young childern who are very tall, and keep growing, doctors usually offer them sex steroids ( testosterone or estrogen) in order to fuse their bones, this is usually seen happening to girls. SO if you have to shave your face every day or 2..then perhaps you should look for other ways to increase ur torso height (sitting height)

if you had ur period in aug 2005, then ull stop growing around august 2007...but as i calculated, u should end up being 5'9...because u stated in another thread, ur mom is 5'8 n dad is 6'3..so

68inches+75inches-5inches = 138/2 = 69 inches

so 60 inches is 5'9...so ull most likely grow 2 n 3/4 inch 1 yr from now...ur gun be a tall girl..lol...lucky u

wel for guys i think it depends on ur ethnicity, since asians tend to have less body hair or facial hair than other people, for me im 18, asian, but i dun have any facial hair except a lil bit of mustache, so i shave once a week

This is true the amount of hair one has varies a lot with what race you are

i am the same height as about a year ago. i was a little taller but i must have not had my heels completely on the ground. i really don't think i'll be 5'9 without working for it. if i thought i would, i would not be here.

Its always good to get your full growth potential.

well, it depends ice...you might be, after calculating your parents height, thats you max potential height, so do watever you can to achieve it...Don't loose hope, your still young..LOOK at me, i started to grow like crazy at 18!!!....none of you guys should give up hope
