Its also good for your health.
Do breaststroke 30 minutes every session, 7 times a week.
Sleep 7 hours a day.
Last time I have try this routine, but it seems that I am quite busy with my college stuff.
I quit this routine, but I am sure it works.
Try it for straight 6 months, don't look back.

Current Height : 6'1''
Age : 16
Goal Height : 6'2"
*stop stretching alreadyTongue Don't want goal height comes too fast.

RE: Does swimming help growth?
are you sure you can swim straight 10 laps butterfly?
For me, I prefer do breast stroke, easier, and you will last longer.
You can do about 100 laps in a olympic size swimming pool.
I usually complete it around 1 hour.

Current Height : 6'1''
Age : 16
Goal Height : 6'2"

Wanted to say that during my highschool yrs, swimming and track and field athletics were the two major sporting forces amongst the highschool league in my country.

From my experience and observation, swimmers peak early with their height growth (latest around 14) and athletics girls catch up a bit later (around age 16) as the school tend to train swimmers earlier (when they are age 8-9) whereas athletics training start a bit later (when they are aged 10-11).

But rarely does a swimmer succeed in athletics or vice versa. The closest a swimmer could get in regards to track athletics is long distance (1500m up) and field events which requires upper body strength (e.g. javelin). I'd never seen a track athlete succeed in swimming though.

Have to say though is that swimming gives you better body shape on top of the height you gain. A guy would surely look a bit funny if they were just tall and lanky without a good bit of muscles on thier shoulders (think about Peter Crouch of Liverpool Football Club, who is 6ft 4in but undeniably looks a bit anorexic)
