If I was, you could shoot me for being so dumb. Stretching is one the the most beneficial exercises you can do for your body.

BUT, over stretching it (like for height) can be BAD for health.

People, I'm not saying you shouldn't stretch, but overstretching for height can hurt your back. Pulling the tendons and ligaments that much can't be good. And stretching a bone longer is impossible unless you break it first.

It's just like saying you shouldn't meditate, it's good for the mind, it's relaxing. Once again, if I said you shouldn't, you could shoot me.

I'm just trying to say I'm not anti-stretching.

1. Stretching is good for the body
2. Stretching your body to more height is bad
3. Stretching has other uses, all of which route back to flexiblity

Well, we can't tell if it's growth or stretching of the tendons/ligaments. Not saying you should stop BBall though, not trying to sound rude.

Well, there is one thing. When you jump, your stressing your bones, which stimulates bone formation. And it's a better promoter of GH realsese than stretching.
