How effective is weight lifting for helping growth?
And what type of exercises and techniques would be most beneficial?

Current Height: 5'8
Current Goal: 6'
Ultimate Aim - 6'3
Dad's Height: 5'11.5
Mum's Height - 5'3

Doesn't hurt it. Compounds: Squat, deadlift, clean, bench, military, chin, pull, row...

Start Height: 5'9.2
Current Height: 5'11.3
Goal: 6'
Current 176 Pounds
Body Fat%: 10%
Goal: Enter my first competition by 2011 at 190 pounds 6% body fat.

however i seldom see weight lifters being very very tall

Lou Ferringo, started at 14 (5'9") he then grew to 6'5" which is tall than anyone in his family.

Age: 14
Now: 6'0" < WOHOOO!!!!!!
Goal: 6'8"
Weight: 198 lbs
